Kielivo is operated by Petterik Oy. We collect only the information needed to provide accounts, learning progress, optional community features, safety, and support.

What we store

With an account, we store your identity provider reference, email, profile settings, target languages, scored learning evidence, review schedule, consent choices, and sync receipts. Guest data stays in the app sandbox on one device until you choose to merge it into an account.

Speech, writing, and AI

Recordings stay on your device by default. A recording is uploaded only when you opt in; retained recordings expire after 30 days. AI coaching is optional. Eligible text is moderated before and after generation, and usage records exclude raw learner writing and full conversations.

Community and younger learners

Community is opt-in and private by default. Age-band rules restrict posting and open-ended AI. Version 0.1.0 has no direct messages or public leaderboard. Reports and moderation decisions are retained to keep circles safe and support appeals.

Analytics

Learning analytics are off until you opt in. Operational security and reliability logs use request IDs and technical metadata, not passwords, tokens, recordings, transcripts, or full request bodies.

Your rights and controls

Settings lets you change analytics, AI, recording, community, download, and notification choices independently. You can request an export or delete your account. Account deletion removes learning and community data and revokes Sign in with Apple authorization when applicable.
